Greetings Whovians

Tick-tock! There's lots to tell you, and no time to hang around as the updates just keep coming. More will be along before you know it. So, keep up!

DID SOMEBODY MENTION A ROBOTIC DOG?

Inspired by some wonderful feedback from our superstar community, we've come up with a whizzy new tutorial to help our newest players learn the DW:WA ropes. The best bit? Running the show is loveable legend and loyal friend of the Doctor, K9. Who says an old dog can't teach you new tricks?
Even if you're not new to the game, give the tutorial a try because, who knows? Maybe you'll get a glimpse of the future and see what's on the cards...

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH CARD UPGRADES?

It won't be long now until we reveal the full details of the player progression features we've been busily working upon behind the scenes. Some of the changes we're making this time are in preparation for these imminent seismic shifts. It's not quite time to tell all but there's some pretty exciting spoilers to get your sonic screwdrivers spinning.
Starting now, there'll be two ways to upgrade playable cards: Levelling Up AND Card Evolutions. Levelling Up cards is a way for you to increase the playable level of each of your playable cards and, in time, it will unlock certain features for that card. Card Levelling will also earn an Evolution currency reward that you'll need for, er, Evolutions.

EVOLUTION? WHAT'S THAT?

Once your cards reach card Level 3, behold, Card Evolutions are unlocked! Now you can use your Evolution currency to visually upgrade cards through three stages — with even more impressive stages and effects still to come. And you're not limited to any specific card, oh no. Spend your currency freely across any Level 3+ cards you wish. Card Levelling and Evolutions will be important for other incoming features, but you'll really need to hang on a little bit longer to find out exactly how and why.
Your upgraded cards are now also easier to spot because we've added animated borders to represent the level they've reached. As well as that, a card's rarity can be easily identified by the colour of the border of the card as seen in the inspector screen.

MINDBLOWING. ARE WORLD CLASHES CHANGING TOO?

So, as you know, World Clashes are a brilliant and key part of the game. To show them off at their best, they've had a sequence makeover, which should help players old and new to follow and enjoy the action.
Be sure to keep an eye and ear out for other gameplay enhancements. Along with some brilliant new sound effects, we also have a brand-new Time Vortex to make your TARDIS travels through time even more exciting and immersive.

ANYTHING ELSE TO REPORT?

On top of everything else, we've managed to fix some pesky bugs to keep things running smoothly and there's been some groundwork changes on the card inspector screen, which pave the way for development of future features we have planned. Still not telling though, sorry!

As always, we want to hear your feedback, observations or suggestions for the game. Visit our Discord servers and fire away. Also, remember DW:WA is still in the development stage and anything and everything could be changed, meaning there's a good chance we'll have to hit reset at some point. We really don't want anyone to be upset if they lose progress due to a reset, so please do keep this in mind.

You're probably keen to see these excellent new additions for yourself, in all their shiny new glory, so don't let us stop you. Download and play NOW.

You're still here... Why so slow? Let battle commence!

Allons-y!
