Devices can give players an advantage over opponents, most device abilities come at a cost of Artron.
Domains primarily affect areas of the board. Domains can buff a players creatures or negatively affect enemy creatures that are in play.
Specialists are powerful cards that can assist you in battle for a predetermined number of turns on the board.
Events are single use cards that can turn the tide of battle in a single moment. Their abilities can be both harmful to enemies or helpful to your cause.
Creatures are the main damage dealers and blockers of your deck and are based on aliens and humans from the TV show.
Objects, like Creatures, are placed on the board but can't attack or block. They have many other uses, though!
World cards affect both gameplay and deck construction. They can have great synergy with cards from the same set. For example, Skaro and the Dalek's.

Card frames are a unique aesthetic that can be applied to cards themselves. A Frame's rarity is determined by a percentage chance of receiving it from a card pack and the amount of those frames in circulation. Frames other than the core frames belongs to specific sets, so for example a card frame for Time Lord Victorious is not obtainable for Unearthly Origins. Remember, frames denote value. Therefore, the more scarce the frames, the more valuable the card will be to traders.
The board where you will conduct battle. Each player can control up to 5 Creatures on the front row and 5 back row cards at any time. In addition to this each player has a slot to play World cards.
